Sunday Sept 26, 2010 River report

Casey and Wally caught some specks this morning up to 3lbs, but most were small. I went out in afternoon to see if there were any spot or large croaker around and didn't caught anything. water temp 76 wind NE15 to 20

Zihuatenejo, Mexico September 18-25, 2010

Randy, Merv, John and I went down for a week of relaxation with fishing thrown in. Hurricane Karl messed up Sunday and Monday as it came across Mexico from the Atlantic. The fishing for Sailfish is a little slow this time of year but we managed 3 fish. Rooster fishing was good. Merv and John got 3 big ones on Wednesday and Randy and I got 10 Friday with the biggest going around 35 lbs.

Labor Day King Mackeral

Casey, Bill and Robby went one for 3 on the King Mac's. I went with Jamal Wednesday and the wind forecast was off by 15 knots. No fish for us.

Offshore trip Tuesday Aug 31, 2010

Casey and Merv went out for Dolphin and caught 40 or more.

The River August 23, 2010

Fished with David for a few hours. NE wind no flounder keepers in the inlet but did find some nice drum up to 32 inches.

Club Challenge August 21, 2010

We sucked. Fished for cobia for 6 hrs and only saw 1 fish which we didn't even have a shot at.

Flounder fishing August 11, 2010

Clear, hazy and light winds. Had a window with the currents between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm. Fished small croakers and spot. Lots of big toads and two nice flatties. 24 in for Arthur and a 25 inch for me.
