Oct 3, 2011 Speck report

Wind west 20kts, water70f. Brian and I fished for 4 hours incoming tide caught 25 to 30 fish mostly small with one 17 in fish.

A front moved thru last night and it was a little windy NW 15 to 20, water 73F, Taylor, Mike, Angie and Brian managed 15 fish with only one keeper.

Just got a report from David that the spot bite is on at the Great Neck Bridge.

Sept. 4, 2011

Fished 11:30 am to 1:30pm. Had 3 keeper specks and 2 keeper flounder. Fished the middle of the flood inn the basin.

Went to 1st and 2nd islands today looking for some big sheep. Nada biting , and the head boats weren't even catching any croakers or spot. Irene has messed up the fishing. Brain was tried from working all night but did stop at a spot to try for specks on the way in and he got a 17 inch fish and I got a small one.

Brian and I put skiff back in water and tried for pups and specks for less than an hour. Brian got a nice 31 in Pup.

Nice day with scattered clouds, Brian and Casey went sight fishing in the ocean but didn't see many. They caught 2 one being a release citation for Casey.
