Freddie's first Tog
Had a young guy from work come tog fishing with Merv and I today. I have been recovering from gum surgery so I only have about 5 hours work of energy for work or fishing. Have to take easy for 2 weeks. Anyway got out around 11 am and hit 2 spots with no luck then we get to a place that usually produces a few fish and it was until Freddie started to get seasick. We got 4 keepers and 2 throw backs and headed in. Water 68F wind south at 15 To 20 mph

Flounder fishing Thursday 5/29/14
Randy and I fished the inlet and western branch of Lynnhaven most day and it was cold and windy. We caught a half dozen small flounder. The cold front shut down the flounder bite. Decided to check out the pups but only had one crab. Caught six and Randy broke off 3. Good way to end the day.

Speck fishing in the discharge
Jamal has been fishing the discharge lately and it has been very good or bad depending on whether they are releasing warm water. When they discharge water it is hot fishing. These are a couple of 30 inch fish.
