Tog fishing the Triangles Saturday March 30, 2013

Randy, Merv and I left the house at 8:30 am with no wind and got set up fishing by 10:30 am. We had a slow day but the boat next to us Classic Rockfish tore them up. The caught 3 fish betreen 13 and  17 lb plus numerous other fish. Sunny and upper 50's with water at 47F. left at 5 pm and half way in wind picked up out of SE and alittle bumpy around cape Henry.

Speck fishing March 19, 2013

Wind NW 15 to 20 mph, Water 50 to 58 F, Air 40 to 58 F partly cloudy, took Rob Kelly in search of that special fish and it was not in cards. Remember not to fish after 2 days of rain. I caught 4 smaller specks although legal fish and a catfish. Rob got a 10 in pup and an eel. I wanted to get a pic of the eel but Rob released before I could get to the camera. I think its over for this year. I am ready for it to warm up so I can go tog fishing my next day off on the 22th.

Speck fishing March 16th

Wind SE 10,water 52 to 55 F,Brian an David both got papers, caught 11, 1st pic of Brian with 20 inch, 2nd pic Brian with 23.25 inch fish and David with a 24 inch fish.

Speck fishing 3/11/13

Took Randy today water51 to 58 f, wind SE 15 knots. Went 6 for 12 with a 25.5 in paper for Randy. The first pic was a 23 inch fish and 2nd pic the paper.

Water 45 to 49 f, wind NW 15 ,45 f , got 14 today up to 22 in
