Cobia Sight Fishing Saturday June 23, 2012

Merv and I fished the Ocean , bridge between 2nd and 3rd islands and the Baltimore Channel up to York Spit split, then back to the bridge and 4th island and never saw a single fish all day. Friday went out and fished a couple hours for sheeps with no bites and storms chased us in. Maybe Thursday I can get back out after some sheeps.

wx was not good for cobia so Brian and I fished the River , live bait only small fish, 6 keepers 17 to 20 inches, wx water 78F, wind 25 knts SE, cloudy

First Cobia Fishing Trip June 10, 2012

Beautiful day light winds, no clouds. We saw 6 fish today and had a shot at 3, we got 1 a small 33 in rat, at least no skunk.

Fishing lately

Well I have been drum fishing 3 times in the past 2 weeks with nothing to show for the efforts. Yesterday I broke in the new motor on the skiff by fishing for flounder inside Lynnhaven fishing gulp jigs and landed 6 fish keeping 3 between 19-20 inches. Could not find any live baits.
